Winter league teams 2023/24
Dear all
Whilst we are basking in the throws of summer, the Leicesershire league winter season planning is well underway.
You may be aware that last season we fielded 3 teams, each of which had great success with the 3rd team finishing a very respectable mid-table, the seconds securing promotion to division 1 and the firsts winning the 1st division!
I'm conscious that a number of players missed out last year on team squash and would love to enter a 4th team again this year into the 4th division. For players who either currently play friendlies or the internal leagues / summer league, these are great foundations for transitioning into winter league squash, allowing you to travel to different clubs and experience competitive match-play as part of a team. For those that missed out last year this is your opportunity to re-kindle your competitive spirit!
In order to understand whether a 4th team is viable please would you contact me to confirm that you would like to play for the 4ths this year. You can respond to this email, drop me a message directly (07528 316951), or of course feel free to come and have a chat when next at the club.
Please note, the deadline for submitting teams is 30 July.
