General Meeting - Tuesday 14th December - POSTPONED
Dear [[firstname]],
It is with much regret that we feel the proposed General Meeting next week should be postponed.
Given recent Government rule changes relating to work, public places and large gatherings in order to reduce the spread of Covid19, and given that Christmas is under two weeks away, we feel it would be advisable and in everyone’s best interests to move our planned General Meeting into the early New Year when hopefully things may have settled down a little and some of the rules relaxed.
We hope everyone will understand and support this necessary but disappointing decision, and that we can all convene in early 2022 to hear about the club’s current and projected financial position and share our thoughts and ideas on the club’s next steps.
As always, members’ comments and ideas are gratefully received so please keep in touch with your committee who are doing their best to act on your behalf and in the club’s best interests.
