George Greenlees
We wish to advise our longer-standing members of the passing of George Greenlees, a loyal past-member of the club for many years.
George was a very active member of the teams, playing at high level for the club for many years. He was best known for his fitness and speed around court, and never gave up without a fight! He also introduced and sponsored the weekend invitational 'Gymphlex Trophy' event which was a fiercly contested annual trophy between teams of the best players from all of the Leicestershire clubs.
A service to 'Celebrate his life' will take place on Friday 27th January at 2:30pm at St Peter's Church, Tilton-on-the-hill and afterwards at his and Wendy's house in Tilton.
The Committee would like to take this opportunity to wish James and his family all the best at this difficult time.
