Health and safety

Dear [[firstname]]

We thought it was timely to highlight the locations of the club's defibrillator and first aid boxes, along with some general guidance.
Please take a few minutes to read this information, familiarise yourself with the locations, and watch the defibrillator video. It could make a vital difference in an emergency.
Defibrillator
Located in the entrance area at the club as you walk in through the main entrance
Firstly, we want to reassure all members that no specific medical skills or knowledge are required to activate or use the defibrillator. It is designed to be very easy to use, with clear voice and visual guidance provided throughout each step of the process.
In the event of a cardiac emergency, acting quickly and using the defibrillator could help save someone's life. We therefore encourage all members to take a few minutes to familiarise themselves with its location and how it works.

Please take the time to watch the video so that, should an emergency ever occur, you feel confident knowing what to do. ( Please ignore the YouTube advert)

If anyone feels that a practical demonstration would be useful, please let us know. If there is sufficient interest, we will arrange a session to provide some practical guidance and hands-on experience.

First Aid Boxes

Located behind the bar pelmet as you enter and access the bar and by court 4 lower viewing area

Both first aid boxes are fully stocked. Please advise the club at info@leicestersquash.club of any injuries that occur on the premises, so that the incident can be recorded and the first aid box can be restocked as necessary.

Many thanks

LSC Committee.
