CLUB ADMINISTRATOR (part-time)
Our club now needs to take on a member of staff to assist with the day-to-day administration. Below is a summary of the main elements of the role, but there will undoubtedly be other things that may crop up that are not listed here. If you know anyone who might be interested then please pass this information on to them and ask them to

GENERAL DUTIES

Check post-box, file and/or pass on post to the relevant committee members
-
Manage the club’s email inbox, file and/or pass on emails to the relevant members
-
Manage telephone messages and escalate to designated committee members as required
-
Renew, activate, deactivate key fobs
-
Deal with new membership, room hire and pay-and-play enquiries
-
Prepare the Studio in advance of studio bookings
-
Report maintenance and repair issues to the designated committee member
-
Order goods and supplies as required for example soap, toilet rolls, plastic cups, key fobs
-
Liaise with the cleaning company to ensure that the club is kept in a clean and tidy state

Liaise with contractors and other suppliers, organise and supervise access as required
BAR RELATED DUTIES
-
Arrange bar staff rota and supervise / liaise with bar staff

Till updates (product pricing, reconciliation)

Run Barclaycard security checks for card machine
-
Cellar management including monitoring of line cleaning / gas handling , health & safety etc

Monitor and re-order stock from our suppliers to ensure minimal wastage
-
Liaise with Everards for any issues / training of new staff
SQUASH/MEMBER RELATED DUTIES
-
Show prospective new members round during working hours
-
Print off score sheets for team matches and business league matches
-
Liaise with third party catering suppliers for events / team meals
-
MyCourts booking system;
-
Update the membership database with new joiners/leavers/other changes
-
Broadcast emails as directed; eg squash-related activities, club updates, events etc
-
Manage court bookings, for example team bookings, recurring bookings, member no-show refunds etc

Update social media accounts with important messages, events etc
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
WORKING HOURS
– 3 hours per day Monday to Friday (15 hours per week in total) (extra hours are available behind the bar as required)
PLACE OF WORK
– Leicester Squash & Racketball Club, 189 London Road, Leicester
HOLIDAYS
– 28 days paid annual leave (FTE) plus English bank holidays
SALARY
- FTE £19,500 per annum (FTE based on 37.5 hrs/week)
